AI Training for Irish Businesses: What to Expect and What It Costs | Comments Off on AI Training for Irish Businesses: What to Expect and What It Costs

Emma D’Arcy delivering AI training workshop for Irish SME team, Tipperary.

If you have been wondering whether AI training is worth investing in for your business, this post will give you a clear picture of what it involves, who it suits, and exactly what it costs. No vagueness, no jargon.

Why AI Training Comes First

Before any business can benefit from AI tools, the people in that business need to understand what those tools can and cannot do. That sounds obvious, but it is where most AI adoption falls apart.

Business owners try a tool once, it does not immediately deliver, and they conclude that AI is overhyped. What they actually experienced was a tool used without a strategy or any real understanding of how to get results from it.

The recommendation is to begin with AI Training:

Training changes that. It gives you and your team the foundation to use AI confidently, consistently, and in ways that are directly relevant to your business. Once that foundation is in place, everything else, the productivity gains, the time savings, the commercial acceleration, becomes genuinely achievable.

At Emma D Marketing, training is always the first conversation I have with a new client. Not because it is the most lucrative service I offer, but because it is the one that makes everything else work.

What AI Training for Irish Businesses Actually Covers

Every training session I deliver is built around the specific business in the room, not a generic slide deck. That said, most sessions cover a core set of practical areas.

Understanding what AI can realistically do. We start by cutting through the noise. There is a lot of hype around AI and a lot of fear. Most of it is unhelpful. I give business owners and their teams an honest, grounded picture of what AI tools can do right now in a practical Irish business context.

Identifying where AI will save you the most time. Every business is different, but the impact is often immediate once you know where to look. Common high value areas include:

  • Marketing: social media content, email campaigns, blog post ideas, ad copy, website copy, brochure copy
  • New business: drafting tender documents, writing client proposals, preparing pitch decks and presentations
  • Administration: meeting notes turned into structured summaries with actions and owners, building meeting agendas from bullet points
  • Research: competitor analysis, new market research, industry background for proposals and reports
  • Client communication: first draft responses to enquiries, follow up emails, client reports and board summaries

We look at your specific business and identify where you are currently losing the most time, then show you exactly how to get it back.

hands on practice with the right tools. Knowing a tool exists is not the same as knowing how to use it well. Sessions include live, hands on practice so that participants leave with actual skills, not just awareness.

Building an AI workflow for your business. The goal is not to use AI once and move on. It is to embed practical AI habits into how your business operates every day. We build a simple, practical workflow that your team can follow without needing to think too hard about it.

Questions and real world application. I leave plenty of time for questions and for working through specific scenarios relevant to your business. The most valuable part of any training session is often the conversation about your actual challenges.

Who Is This Training For?

AI training at Emma D Marketing is for anyone in a business who wants to work smarter. You do not need a job title that sounds important. If you are spending too much time on tasks that AI could handle, this is for you. That includes:

  • Business owners and sole traders who want to use AI themselves but do not know where to start
  • Employees and team members in SMEs who want to become more productive and add more value in their role
  • SME teams of any size who want to adopt AI consistently across the business
  • Marketing and sales teams who need to produce more content, follow up faster, and generate better results
  • Professional services firms looking to improve client communication and reduce admin time
  • Organisations in agri food, property, equestrian, and other sectors that are newer to digital adoption
  • Anyone who feels like there are not enough hours in the day and suspects AI could help

You do not need any technical background. This training is designed for everyday people running everyday businesses, not software developers or tech specialists. If you can use a smartphone and send an email, you have everything you need to get started.

What Does AI Training Cost in Ireland?

This is the question most people want answered before they pick up the phone, so here it is.

Half day workshop (up to 6 people): €600 plus VAT. This covers the core fundamentals, tool introductions, and hands on practice. Suitable for small teams or business owners who want a focused, practical session.

Full day workshop (up to 10 people): €1,000 plus VAT. A deeper session that includes workflow building, sector specific application, and follow up resources. This is the most popular format for SME teams.

Multi session programme: The best value option for businesses that want ongoing training and implementation support. Delivered across four to eight weeks at an agreed rate, built around your schedule and your business needs. Pricing agreed upfront with no surprises.

One to one coaching for business owners: Pricing on request. Ideal for founders and senior leaders who want focused, strategic guidance on how to use AI in their own role and how to lead AI adoption in their organisation.

All sessions include a free initial consultation beforehand so we can tailor the content to your business. Travel across Munster is included. For Dublin and other locations, travel costs are agreed in advance.

What Happens After the Training?

A single workshop will get you started and you will leave with practical skills you can use immediately. But in my experience, the businesses that achieve the best results are the ones that go further. Clients who combine an initial training session with a bespoke three month or six month ongoing programme consistently outperform those who stop at one session. The reason is simple: embedding AI properly into how a business operates takes time, repetition, and support as new questions and opportunities emerge. The ongoing programmes are built around your business specifically, they evolve as you do, and they deliver compounding results that a single workshop simply cannot replicate.

If you want to see what is genuinely possible, the ongoing option is where the real transformation happens.

For clients who want to go further, I offer ongoing consultancy and advisory support to help embed AI properly into their commercial strategy. But that is a conversation for after the training, when you know what you are working with.
